About me

I am a predoctoral researcher at the Institute of Design and Assessment of Technology at the Faculty of Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology.

I received a Master in Medical Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology and a Master in Nursing Studies from the University of Vienna. Currently I am working as a PhD scholar in the Multidisciplinary Design Group of the Institute for Development and Assessment of Technology at the Vienna University of Technology. Before engaging in my PhD research, I worked for different companies and agencies, such as: CISMO GmbH, a company in the energy sector; ZIT, the Viennese funding agency for local innovative SMEs; and, R&D-Department of the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, a company for emergency medical services.

My research are integral part of the TOPIC project (The Online Platform for Informal Caregivers) and my interests are centered on issues of technological support in the context of informal care.
